Client: The Studio School of Dance is a family owned dance studio that was forced to convert to a virtual dance school during the pandemic. 

Challenge: The dance school was facing the difficulty of going virtual during the pandemic. It needed its teacher bios to speak for themselves and be stunning enough to retain clients who considered discontinuing classes during quarantine.    

Solution: Instead of boring the reader with a list of the teacher’s accomplishments, I led with the teacher’s impressive career length and moved on to highlight her achievements in a story format. From there, I chose to end strongly by showcasing her recent award and pointing out her feelings about teaching dance.

Copy: Nina Tocantins is a renowned choreographer and performer who has been teaching dance for more than 25 years. Her remarkable talent for directing and imaginative choreography has led her to work as a ballet coach for competitive skaters in Minnesota and to coach gymnastics teams for American Gymnastics. Nina has years of experience teaching throughout Westchester and has also worked for multiple production teams all through the Tri-State area.  Nina is well respected for her dance artistry and was recently awarded the distinguished Cab Calloway Award for a lifetime of achievement in Choreography! Nina enjoys sharing her talent and love of dance with her students at The Studio School of Dance.
